Email from December 16, 2013

Dear Family!

This last week was great! We had a wonderful appointment with Vibeke on Monday. We taught her about the gospel of Jesus Christ and invited her to baptism and guess what, well you already know but she accepted the invitation. We suggested the 25th of January and she gladly said yes! She struggles with the Word of Wisdom mainly coffee and cigarettes so on Friday we taught the Word of Wisdom and she said she would stop smoking when she was out of cigarettes, which will be like a week is what we thought but coffee, she said there would be no problem with that. She came to church yesterday and told all the members that she was getting baptized on the 25th of January, that made our job easier! =) Overall, Vibeke is doing well!

Natascha came to church as well! She stayed the whole time and really enjoyed it. We plan on meeting with her on Tuesday, nothing really new with her. We were supposed to meet with Mia on Saturday but she cancelled on us and didn't come to church like she said she would so we were way bummed!

OH YES! GUESS WHAT! I am getting transferred tomorrow! I am getting transferred to Sønderborg and i will be training again! There are already two elders down there but president wants more so he has picked me to train and open up a second area! I am so excited! We will be sharing a car with the other two elders which will be nice. Its a branch down there so church is only 2 hours which will feel weird!! Sønderborg is right on the border of Denmark and Germany so i hear the accent is a little different so i am stoked!

 The weather is way weird, its not only even that cold. Its like 5 degrees Celsius which i think is around 41  degrees Fahrenheit so it isn't too bad. I said goodbye to my buddy Finn in the ward last night, he is like 70 years old but his eyes started to swell up when we were saying goodbye, i felt so bad, i am really going to miss him! i love this ward so much. My time in  Slagelse has been terrific!
