Hey Family!

Well it was so nice to see everyone!! =)) So after we finished talking
we ate a HUGE meal and we all stuffed ourselves! The members just kept
putting food on our plates and after like 20 minutes of eating all of
us elders had to step outside because we were sweating bullets! They
ended up giving us all the left overs which we ate when we got home.
haha

Thursday we went on splits with the elders in a city called Esbjerg.
We had our district activity which was spent ice skating and walking
around this really old city named Ribe. Nothing else new though to be
honest. We currently are not teaching anyone but once the Holidays are
over we should be able to get in contact with the investigators we
were given from the other elders.

Well the sales start today on clothes and stuff
so i will try not to spend too much. I just wanna get another pair of
shoes, and maybe a couple shirts. I am selling my guitar for
like 200 bucks so if i can sell that then i will just use that Money
for some of the clothes i wanna get. Have a good week! =)

Dear Family!

This last week was great! We had a wonderful appointment with Vibeke on Monday. We taught her about the gospel of Jesus Christ and invited her to baptism and guess what, well you already know but she accepted the invitation. We suggested the 25th of January and she gladly said yes! She struggles with the Word of Wisdom mainly coffee and cigarettes so on Friday we taught the Word of Wisdom and she said she would stop smoking when she was out of cigarettes, which will be like a week is what we thought but coffee, she said there would be no problem with that. She came to church yesterday and told all the members that she was getting baptized on the 25th of January, that made our job easier! =) Overall, Vibeke is doing well!

Natascha came to church as well! She stayed the whole time and really enjoyed it. We plan on meeting with her on Tuesday, nothing really new with her. We were supposed to meet with Mia on Saturday but she cancelled on us and didn't come to church like she said she would so we were way bummed!

OH YES! GUESS WHAT! I am getting transferred tomorrow! I am getting transferred to Sønderborg and i will be training again! There are already two elders down there but president wants more so he has picked me to train and open up a second area! I am so excited! We will be sharing a car with the other two elders which will be nice. Its a branch down there so church is only 2 hours which will feel weird!! Sønderborg is right on the border of Denmark and Germany so i hear the accent is a little different so i am stoked!

The weather is way weird, its not only even that cold. Its like 5 degrees Celsius which i think is around 41  degrees Fahrenheit so it isn't too bad. I said goodbye to my buddy Finn in the ward last night, he is like 70 years old but his eyes started to swell up when we were saying goodbye, i felt so bad, i am really going to miss him! i love this ward so much. My time in
Slagelse has been terrific!

Well i don't have much time! Thanks for everything! I love you all!
Merry Christmas!

Dear Family!

AMAZING WEEK! A lot of miracles happened, let me tell you!

About 2 weeks ago Æ. Gifford and I knocked into a nice girl named Mia
( 19 years old) . We presented the gospel to her and asked if we could
come back again and talk a little more. She was really unsure and so
we ended up giving her our card and told her if she ever wanted to
meet again that she could call us. This last Tuesday we got a text
from Mia asking if she could come to church and see what we believe
in! We said of course and asked if we could meet before Sunday and she
said yes! I seriously could not sleep that night! A young
Dane randomly texting us to learn more about our church... That never
happens! haha So on Saturday we brought a member with and taught Mia
about the Book of Mormon. The member we brought with was perfect and
the lesson went AMAZING! She is atheist but she said she has a desire
to learn about our religion. She plans on coming this next Sunday to
church! NEVER on my mission have i had someone use the card we gave
them to contact us. A lot of potential here!

We had a great appointment with Vibeke as well! We we arrived to the
appointment her ex-husband was there so we thought oh man this isn't
going to be good. We talked a lot about Jesus Christ and the reason we
celebrate Christmas. Both Vibeke and her ex husband were touched by
the message and they both agreed to come to church on Sunday and they
did! =) We met with them twice last week.

We had a good zone conference as well this last week! 4 missionaries
will be going home next week including Æ. Peterson who lives in Idaho
falls. Great guy, he really is, missionary life was just a little hard
for him. The training had a lot to do with Christlike Attributes and
how we can improve and obtain these attributes, way inspiring! =) Oh
yeah and we had a "Danish Hurricane" which was actually pretty crazy,
a ton of wind so president asked us to stay in for the day.

President talked with me at the training for a little bit about
transfers. He asked me if i wanted to stay or leave Slagelse, i said "
President i love slagelse, its been the highlight of my mission but i
would like one last change before i go home. " So this week i find out
if i am leaving, transfers is on the 18th of this Month. Lame that it
is right before Christmas but it isn't hard for me to get to know the
members.

Well that's about all! Thanks for everything! Thanks for sending the
package! Thanks for all your support! I HAVE THE BEST FAMILY EVER! =)
Love you!

Æ. Wible

Me and Stefan ( i cant even begin to tell you how much of a help him
and his family have been when it comes missionary work )

Æ. Petersen, myself and another missionary that is going home.

Dear Family,

This week was great! We helped a member in the ward move this last week and it was great to see how many members from the ward came out and helped her move. This ward is so amazing! They are so loving and kind and are always willing to help. We had a great appointment with Vibeke this last week. We taught about the plan of salvation. It went well but her understanding is not the quickest so we are going to switch some things up so that she can better understand. Vibeke came to church yesterday! We had an amazing fast and testimony meeting, i think every member bore a short and sweet testimony. During the meeting Vibeke leaned over to me and told me how happy she has been feeling lately, She said that she feels peace and comfort in her life and then she said " I think its because of you missionaries! " I told her that was the spirit she was feeling. She was really touched by the testimonies she heard, great Sunday!

Natascha came to church as well! She came just for sacrament but it was great to see her. I think i told you but we set a goal for her to
get baptized on the 11th of January. She isn't quite on board yet but
we are thinking within a week or two she will be!

This last week we met with the high council,  It was way good we just came prepared with good stuff that the wards are doing and some stuff that we could work on. But instead of leaving them with all these problems we came with some solutions that they were way happy to hear about so everyone was way impressed! I was glad to get that over with, i was stressing hardKOR!

I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving and had the chance to think about the true meaning and that it is not all about pigging out or making this huge creation of food that is only going to be on our
tongues for 2 seconds and then swallowed. So what, the turkey is dry and it tastes bad! Who cares! Back when grandma and grandpa were born,:) Thanksgiving was celebrated to give thanks for the blessing of the harvest. We too can do the same, we have received so much this past year and often times we forget to thank our Father in Heaven for that which we received.  We all have many things to be thankful for in our lives. Let us do as Amulek suggests in Alma 34 : 38 and " live in thanksgiving daily for all the many mercies and blessings which he doth bestow upon you."

I am thankful for the gospel in my life and am thankful to be a
missionary here in Denmark. I have learned so much about myself and about my purpose and i know that i was sent here for a reason, the Lord gave me this opportunity and i thank Him for it. I have no more time but i wish everyone a great week and a Merry Christmas! I love you!

had just had a ping pong turny! And that is Æ. Gifford and his greenie

Hey Family!

Great week! We taught Vibeke this last week! She is a very funny lady,We got to her place and saw her outside walking her cat on a leash, way funny. haha We talked about prophets and why it is important to have one today. I don't think she got anything out of the lesson because her cat was distracting her! oh well. We also taught a new
investigator named Alex, the chain smoker... The appointment went good. He told us after the previous appointment that he had had the greatest day ever, he told us he was able to talk to some cute girls ( hes like 50 ) and he thinks it was because of our visit. So after we taught him this last time he was like " yeah i am going to have a great day, i can feel, thanks guys! " haha yeah so i am not sure how much he gets out of our lessons but he sure does feel good after them . haha The word of wisdom is going to be tough for him.

Natascha came to church yesterday! She really enjoyed it, we mentioned baptism again but she is afraid to commit herself. The ward really hooked us up with some eating appointments this last week which was nice, I think i put on like 5 extra pounds, we pigged out. ( YOSO, you only serve once ) yeah so nothing else new. This next week we have a meeting with president and the high council, should be fine. yeah that is about all=).

Well i love you!
Have a good week! =)

Hey Family!

We had a way good week! We met with Natascha and talked about baptism.
Æ. Berry and I prayed about a date and we felt like she could be ready
by the 11th of January. We talked about the date with her and she said
she would work toward it. So it wasn't really a " yes i will be
baptized " but more of a " i will try... " So we printed out a
baptismal calender for her and plan on giving it to her this next
week. She is still doing amazing!

Æ. Berry and I spent some time knocking and knocked into a very nice
lady named Vibeke. We taught her about prayer and invited her to
church and she promised us she would come. Sunday came and SHE CAME!
We were so happy to see her. She walked into the Chapel and Vibeke saw
Betina ( The sisters investigator ) and said " Betina, what are you
doing here?! I didn't know you came to this church!" Apparently they
are way good friends. So Vibeke stayed all three hours and went to
relief society with Betina. There were also 2 less actives in church
so it was an amazing Sunday!

We went to a Jahovas Whitness church... We got invited by a lady that
we knocked into so we decided to go and check it out. We got there and
everyone greeted us and asked us a ton of questions about our
missions. Æ. Berry and I talked a lot with the youth and we both
exchanged our different beliefs. In the end everyone agreed that us
Latter Day Saints are not what most people think. We got offered a
ride home so we took the offer and had a good talk with the family who
took us home. Effective? I would say so.

Yeah so we found 3 new investigators this last week, one of them we
taught last night. His name is Alex, way cool guy, hes like 45. We
walked into his place and i was hit with a brick wall of smoke, he had
a cigarette in his mouth the whole appointment! So yeah my coat reeks
like smoke now, oh well! Great guy though. =)

The companionship is good though. We have a lot of fun together. I
just set of Christmas and new years appointments for this area so i
hope i am here to enjoy them! Transfers is on the 18th of December...
=( This next week will be great! We got a ton of eating appointments
and quite a few investigators to teach! =)

Hey Fam! Well all of our appointments fell through on my birthday and so we did a lot of finding but nothing came out of it. Oh well, i am still happy! =) This last weekend was stake conference so Æ. Berry and I went into Copenhagen. My buddy Fin called and asked if we could sing in the Choir for the Sunday session and so i was like yeah that's fine.
So we get to the practice and Finn, Æ. Berry and Myself were the only tenors, plus like 15 others in the choir. haha we sang like 6 songs before the conference started and it all turned out great even though we were a little small. Finn gave me like 5 ties for singing with him. =) Stake Conference was great though! I got to see so many members that i knew from Copenhagen so it was way exciting to see them! Æ. Berry and I are doing great.
The weather is always overcast and rainy but its all good. Tuesday we will be having the traditional Turkey Bowl! i am soooo excited! Football and then we will be stuffing ourselves! haha Nothing really new with our investigators: Natascha is still the same and nothing really new with Dee... Well thanks for all the birthday wishes! I have the best family ever! Love you! Æ. Wible
